The exhausted Avengers return to Manhattan after their adventure in New Orleans last issue. Inside the mansion a special visitor, Robert Frank, is waiting to talk to the Vision. At first the golden age Whizzer converses normally with Wanda’s husband, but then in a flash the hero from the 1940’s goes berserk! So Cap, Shell-head, and the Beast try to run down the Whizzer in the hallways of Avengers Mansion! Meanwhile, the Scarlet Witch visits the Brand Corporation’s Long Island facility to search for the misplaced Serpent Crown. The good news is…she finds the crown; the bad news…so does the Living Laser! Story continues in Avengers Annual 6.
